Sorry for the lack of updates, been in the hospital and then resting at home for the past couple of weeks, nothing serious though.
Yoink.
Day 3 - And I realise I (sort of) already did this yesterday LAST WEEK - is to draw a figure in action from a reference. (Page that image is from: HERE) You couldn’t really tell that the figure from yesterday was moving I though, so hopefully this is more obvious.
My complete inability to draw faces is very obvious however.

Apparently there’s an entire tumblr dedicated to providing references for drawing, [NSFW] which makes this much easier.
Introductions
So, 13 pages and 1 year ago I started this tumblr - and I never even bothered to introduce myself.
So here we go: my name is Jamie, that thing, up there is a self-portrait, part of the 30 Days of Improvement Hell Challenge, which I’m hoping to make my way through. I’m a student at the College of Fine Arts in Sydney, studying Digital Media - which for me is basically 3D animation.
I’m currently in Paris, because a friend said I could borrow her flat for free - and who wouldn’t say yes to that?
I want to improve at a lot of things - drawing for one (as you can see, I need the improvement) as well 3D modeling, animation and photography.
I’m going to try and actually use this blog/tumblr/thing to show said improvement and not just re-blog pretty pictures.
Though I’ll continue to re-blog pretty pictures and cat gifs. Promise.
Let’s see how all this goes. I’ve got three more months until I’m back in Australia and I need to re-enter the real world, so until then let’s have some fun.
